Snow, Earthquake, Chicago can roll

A little 3.8-magnitude earthquake hit Illinois at 4 a.m. Wednesday, with the epicenter just west of Elgin. Although it was no where near the magnitude of what hit Haiti, the shacking was felt between 4 states and only 50 miles from downtown Chicago. I couldn't even imagine the damage that would happen.

Wired McGwire

Did anyone doubted that Mark McGwire was using steroids when he was popping home run balls every time he stepped up to the plate. However, the unfortunate reality is that we probably were enjoying the entertainment value too much to really care if the rumors were justified. Mark's drug enhancements are really a reflection of the state of America, and the demand for employees (in this case a baseball pro) to be at the top no matter the cost or what corners are cut. It's rather sad.
